Who we are
mustardjar.co.uk is a trading name of Bauer Consumer Media Limited who are an appointed representative of Vast Visibility Limited of 8 Princes Parade, Liverpool, L3 1DL (company number 05866769) which is registered by the Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 566973. We take Data Protection seriously because we want you to feel confident about the privacy and security of the personal information you input on our website.
We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of your information as required by law.
Vast Visibility collects both Personal Data and Anonymous Data when you send us information or when you visit one of our websites. When we talk about Personal Data we mean any information that can identify you as an individual, such as your name and postal address. Anonymous Data doesn't identify you as a person.
We will not disclose any of your information to other parties, without your permission unless we are legally obliged to disclose information in the following four exceptional cases permitted by law. Vast Visibility Ltd, who for the purposes of DPA are the Data Controller administer of the website, comply with and are registered under the data protection laws in the United Kingdom and take all reasonable care to prevent any unauthorised access to your Personal Data.

However, in order for the mustard jar service to be provided to you, it is necessary to process your data for servicing purposes. Should you object to the processing of your data for servicing purposes then we reserve the right to terminate your mustard jar Account.

How we use your Personal Data and who we share it with
Your information comprises all the details we hold about you and your transactions, and it includes information obtained from third parties.
An Internet Protocol ‘IP’ address is a series of numbers which identify a computer (not a person) on the internet. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. On occasions, we collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to analyse aggregate information, and to audit the use and avoid the abuse of our Services. We also use IP addresses to help diagnose possible service interruptions and administer our service and website.
We reserve the right to use and disclose aggregated anonymised data for statistical and business analysis purposes.
We will not keep your information for longer than is necessary.

- Where you sign into your mustard jar using a third party or social media platform, for example Facebook login or Google login, you are granting permission to Facebook and or Google login to share your user details with Vast Visibility. This will include your name, email address, date of birth and location, which will then be used to form a Vast Visibility identity. This will also allow Vast Visibility and Facebook and/or Google login to share your networks, user ID and any other information you choose to share according to your Facebook and/or Google account settings. If you remove the mustard jar app from your Facebook and or Google settings, we will no longer have access to this information.
You will not be able to activate mustard jar services unless you signify your agreement to this Privacy Notice.
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Notice from time to time and will publish such amended version of the Privacy Notice on the website and in the App (as an update to the App). Use of your mustard jar after the date of you being notified of any such amended Privacy Notice will constitute acceptance of such revised terms and conditions.
We use data and information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and for the purposes supplied/ authorised by you. Privacy settings can be adjusted by modifying the settings of your computer or mobile phone, so you can limit the amount of information supplied to us.
We only share customer details with third parties as set out in the Privacy Notice. These third parties only use customer details for the purposes of providing the mustard jar Services to customers. The current third parties are: Gobsmack Limited, Loyalty Prime Limited, Sports Loyalty Card Ltd t/a Reward, Top Benefit Schemes Limited, City Partnership (UK) Limited, Feefo Holdings Limited and REaD Group Limited.
mustard jar Services are supplied pursuant to our Terms and Conditions as well as in accordance with the Privacy Notice.
Payment card details
By registering a payment card in connection with transaction monitoring, you authorise mustard jar and its partners to share your payment card information with Visa, MasterCard and other necessary payment service providers (Payment Service Providers) to confirm your enrolment. You authorise the Payment Service Providers to monitor transactions on your registered card(s) to identify purchases in order to determine whether you have qualified for an offer linked to your payment card, and for the Payment Service Providers to share such transaction details with its partners and where applicable mustard jar to enable card-linked offers and target offers that may be of interest to you.
You may opt-out of transaction monitoring on the payment card(s) you have registered at any time by removing your payment card from your Account. You may remove your payment card at any time in the My registered cards section of your mustard jar Account. We will never ask for the full details of your payment card.
As part of our service, mustard.co.uk may also contact you approximately 12 months after you completed your quote in order to provide you with a new set of quotes that could be used for your next renewal. They do this by resubmitting the data that they hold on you to get updated prices from their providers.
We may also use your data for research purposes, data analysis and enhancement, remarketing and for delivering advertisements relevant to you on third party websites.

We may acquire information about individuals from other sources and add such information to our house files for the same purposes as for information generally. We will notify you should we acquire data about you from any third-party source, other than that collected as a result of your use of mustard jar as set out in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice.
You should be aware that when you are using the website you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our control. These are links to other sites from our website or offered by Reward Suppliers that take you outside of our service. The privacy policies of these other sites may significantly differ from ours.
